"H" goes Hopping

Its been my long standing rant. I do not have an unusually long name. Prashanth is after all a three or four syllable name (he he... oru vegathula sollittaen...I do not know if this is right..but that's not the topic here)

I can't stand people misspelling my name all the time. After all, I can accept the fault with pronunciation but spelling mistake is some thing I can't take. All the time, people comfortably do away with one of the "H" in my name.

They either write it as "Prasanth", "Prashant".

Worst, if they miss both the "H". It sounds like answering a roll call. "Prasant" mam...see?? Awful!

One of my colleagues seems to be very unhappy with my name. He wants be to be some kind of "Nath" so he turned me in to "Prasnath". This he does in every single mail of his. I can understand if there is no reference to my name. But when you are replying to my emails, its there to be seen in the "To" section in the top. Its there in my signatures... but people still like to give me names!

I may be Mr.Kamal fanatic...but I hate to play multiple roles with out my ID.

Hi.. I am PRASHANTH!

I face a similar problem- when people pronounce my name wrongly. Paisa, payasam, pizza are some of my intentionally mispronounced names!!
