I know... I know...

...that very dialogue instantly reminds us of the now-veteran Raghuvaran. Villainity came to him as if it was his second nature. The way he uses his voice... amazing.

In more than one way, he redefined what villainity in cinema meant. The characters he played are not the stupid stereo-types with "Lungi" and with some useless folks around him... going around screaming on the screen. He played them with magnanimity. This gave the film makers a chance to experiment with his villainity. No words can match his achievement and aptly he was awarded "Kalaimaamani" by Government of Tamilnadu.

But film makers have to do some thinking now before etching a character with him in mind. Because, today, he is no more (at an age of 49 he could have lived more). But his characters like "Mark Antony" etc will stay with us forever. The "Kollywood" has lost in him a great actor (villain and character roles) and a very good personality (sans his drug addiction and divorce with Rohini).

His demise leaves a huge void that would be unfilled for the rest of tamil film industry's life!Lets pray god that his soul rests in peace.

This year tamil film industry has already been plauged with death of Sujatha, an awesome writer of fictional novels and film dialogues. (Raz's version of denmise of Sujatha can be read here)
