"Kallai Mattum" from Hariharan is just awesome..rendered brilliantly by Hariharan. Its abt vaishanavites and should date back to 12th century.
"Ulaga Nayagan" is the dream song for any Kamal fan. Glorifies Kamal to the extent possible. For others, passable. Rendered by Vinit. Probably for the titles!
"Oh ho sanam" by Kamal is sure hit! Its really gud. This genre actually suits Kamal well.. Its like the Ullaasam song sung by Kamal! Awesome rendering.
"Oh ho sanam" by Himesh himself should hit the dance floors soon..Himesh's tamil lingo is not tht bad.
"Kaa..karupanukkum" by Shalini (I guess) is interesting. Probably will get used to it. For dance floors again.
"Mukundha Mukundha" is Himesh's try at divine melody. Himesh..pls stick to other genres!
On the whole... definitely not a let down! Exciting days to Dhasavatharam!

Innuru kodumai ennana, the re-recording is done by "Devisri Prasad"!!! God Save Dasavatharam... I alteast hope that the story will not be a let down...:(

Mac... if you think only Ilaiyaraja and A.R can deliver great back ground scores, remember tht even they were given their chances when there were other legends operating... Ilaiyaraja was given his opportunity when MSV ruled!! Any one can turn it on!
And definitely, I will not call this album a let down.I do not understand what fun you can derive by talking everything -ve abt a Kamal movie.

lol.. i side with maverick... this post is defnitely from a die-hard's point of view.. i actually dint like himesh's nasal tone in oh sanam.. it reminds me of another track of his in hindi..(tum saason mein)

not a great album but not that bad either.
Love that hariharan song - waiting to see Kamal on screen for this song
To me, not having Ilayaraja for such a dream project is definitely a miss
According to me the songs are a disaster .. Nothing less.
Reshamiya has used his 'loop beats' technique in all the songs.. Kallai Mattum Kandaal is okay, and that because of Hariharan's voice..

who know lets wait and see after the release of the movie..
overall I liked the songs .. But in front of 'Dhaam Dhoom' songs it is below the expectation.

I meant 'beats in continuous loop'..
Anyone can create them, just a few mins to setup a '3 second duration sequence' in fruity loops, or even Virtual DJ and then put them on continuous loop throughout the song. Thats is reshamiya's techno(crap) style, that we get to see so much in this album ..
