Details...

One wishes that ordering food or drink in the US is not much complicated. Half the time when I order I do not know what the ouput is gonna look like.

Last saturday I, along with my friend, was in DD (Dunkin Donuts). As many of you know, Cappuccino is predominantlythe choice. My friend went for the same and I thought I would experiment some thing different. So I asked for "Espresso with milk" which I spotted some where in the display menu. the quantity was so less... and when asked why...she gave a blank look and said that it is supposed to go with the coffee. It's an ADD-ON!

Thank heavens! No one else was around....

Based on my experiences at ordering stuff, stick to what you know should be the policy I reckon!

HAHAHAHAHAAAHAHA!

Sorry..it so reminds me of something that I would do (even though I've been here for 8.5 yrs)!!

Yes..I agree with sunil, Dunkin Donuts is the worst out there...they actually did a study on it! Makes me sick too..ugh! Worst coffee beans, apparently!!

Starbucks is too good and you can totally get addicted to it...better stay away from there if you don't want to spend your entire income there!!

I thought expresso always comes in small concentrated quantities....i was really fascinated to see how the Romans (i mean people in Rome), drink their expresso....and when i asked one of my Italian friend, he explained it is like taking a fast shot of caffein before going to work!

@ Mac - DD is more of a domestic name in Boston. One has to search for Starbucks. DD is just every where!

@ Arun - Right. America runs on DD

@ Merin - I wonder how you could differentiate these two. For me they taste alike...

@ Raz - You are most welcome!

@ Ela - Yes it does come in small quantities. You knew it. I didn't and that's the problem.

Espresso vaaa ...

I was also disappointed during my first experiment. Cofee ye kaanom, it was only two spoons i guess. but it tasted good (not DD but an Italian restaurant). When i was in chennai, once i went to CCD for the first time, i didt have any idea of what the final outcome of my choice on the menu card, all i could select was based on the fancyness and attractiveness of the name, and my gamble turned out to be "Irish Coffee", the worst coffee i ever had in my life by paying some 60 rupees ......
