Disgust...

The most disgusting act by a person could be putting that fake smile on their face. I know you hate me for what I am and I ain't here expecting that fake smile of yours!

I wonder what goes through a person's mind when he fakes a friendly smile. It shows!

I dunno the exact scenario here but believe me, "Sometimes" a fake smile could be the only solution... It helps!

I agree with Sunil. Most people (almost all, I should say) don't want to offend others. They want to please others. Also, they don't really like encounters. They want to be liked by everyone. For those reasons and more, people are forced (or force themselves) to fake certain things!!

How much it affects you depends on how much that person means to you... I think!!

@ rr

No hon, they don't show!! They blend so well that you might have a difficult time differentiate between fakes and 'reals'!

But if you put them to test...then yeah.....! :D

@ Mac - I am not sure if it helps. I hate it cos I know its fake.

@ Merin - You were partly right there. But when it comes to work place, the ego takes precendence over lotsa other things. Don't you think so?

@ Kavitha - Not really. Since I was the part of the clash moments bfore, I know tht smile of his is fake. :) Thanks for your words on template and names!

@ R3 - Uh-Hmm... Can't say anything.

@ Arun - Research huh?

@ Raz - Exactly! Then why the smile?

Hey

At the end of the day, you've got to decide: would you rather see people's cranky side or their joyous side (even if it is fake!).

Look, we expect others to be honest. We expect them to fulfill something so WE can feel better. It's up to US to decide whether we want OURSELVES to be happy. A frown is not going to ruin ur day if u won't let it! A 'fake' smile or gesture is not going to ruin ur day if u won't let it!!

@ Merin - Yeah! I will get over it! Probably I already did
